Biography


Dr. Amanda M. Olejarski is a visiting instructor in the School of Public Administration at UCF where she teaches courses in nonprofit management. She serves as Editor-in-Chief of Public Integrity. Her research interests center around normative policy implementation and ethical decision-making. Dr. Olejarski is the author of three books on ethics, most recently Ethics for Contemporary Bureaucrats published in 2020 and Empowering Public Administrators to be published in late-2023, both with Routledge. Her research has been published in the top journals of the field, including Public Administration Review, American Review of Public Administration, Administration & Society, Review of Public Personnel Administration, and International Journal of Public Administration. Dr. Olejarski holds a professional membership in ASPA, served as president of the state ASPA chapter, chaired the NASPAA Pi Alpha Alpha committee, is certified in MBTI and DiSC, and frequently mentors emerging scholars. She recently moved to Florida with her husband, three young sons, and their rescue cats- they love the warmth and sunshine, and she enjoys gardening.
