Biography


Dr. Jillian Harrington joined UCF in 2022 after nearly 30 years in the health care industry and health management and regulatory education. Most recently, Dr. Harrington served as the Dean of the School of Health Sciences at Ana G. Mendez University, leading the development of the new US based programs in the health sciences. Prior to that, she served as full time faculty in the Health Service Administration programs at Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, PA, and is a a former chief compliance officer and chief privacy official of a large academic medical center. She has extensive background in health administration, health policy and regulatory affairs, medical coding, and health care reimbursement and finance. Dr. Harrington brings her real life experience in the health care industry to the students in both the face to face and online classroom.
