Biography

Kelly Jennings-Towle is the Director of the Office of Clinical & Field Experiences for the College of Community Innovation and Education (CCIE), as well as a Senior Lecturer in the School of Teacher Education at the University of Central Florida (UCF). Kelly has been in the field of education for over 20 years. Courses taught at the collegiate level center on child and adolescent development, teaching strategies, internships, and student success. She has presented at local, state, and national conferences, as well as trained teachers through workshops. Kelly’s interests include the importance of the teacher-child relationship, teaching in high-need settings, and first year experiences in college. Her passion lies in the need to examine strategies designed to address equity and inclusivity. Kelly strives to foster a culture of diversity and inclusion to support students, staff, and faculty of all backgrounds whose collective contributions strengthen all. Her teaching philosophy aligns with UCF’s strategic plan to prepare students for the future of work, making a difference in their communities and around the world.
