Biography

Dr. K. Tom Liou is a Professor in the School of Public Administration at the University of Central Florida (UCF). He came to the UCF in 1996 and served as a Chair of the Department of Public Administration between 1997 and 2003.

Dr. Liou teaches courses in Public Organization Management, Advance Concepts and Practice for Public Administration, and Comparative and Global Public Administration. Dr. Liou's research areas are public organization management, government reform, and development governance. He has published 6 books and over 60 refereed journal articles in these areas.

Dr. Liou is a Fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration. He has provided leadership services to the American Society for Public Administration, including service as the national Vice President in 2010-11, President Elect in 2011-12, and President in 2012-13.
