I have been an academic advisor in CCIE since November 2019. I received my bachelor’s degree from UCF in 2007 and was a student-athlete. I spent the next twelve years as a college rowing coach at the University of Oklahoma, Indiana University, and UCF before deciding to pursue a doctorate in Education. My doctoral studies have lead me to a passion for qualitative research methodologies and ethnographic research. Before becoming an academic advisor, I was a high school Physical Education teacher in Central Florida. I have a dog named Harley, a Jack Russell mix, who I found while living in Oklahoma. I am also an avid sports enthusiast and will play any sport or run any race at any time, especially running marathons. Sports and Education are my passion, so working in CCIE advising undergraduate students is a great fit!
