Biography

I completed my undergraduate work at the University of Calgary in Canada where I earned degrees in Sociology and Criminal Justice. Subsequently, I earned a master’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida. Finally, I earned my Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati. My dissertation focused on police handling of individuals with mental disorders. My primary interests related to criminal justice are in the areas of Policing, Criminology, Criminal Justice Administration and Situational Crime Prevention. Other areas of interest also include Research Methodology and Data Analysis.
