Katie Seymour

UCF's Ambassador and First Lady, Katie Seymour, will provide the official event opening. Katie Seymour is advocating for UCF students and the campus community every day and throughout Central Florida. She is an active community and international volunteer, having served on multiple boards of directors and is a former President of the Florida Executive Women organization. Today, Katie is an active volunteer with Shepherd’s Hope, a non- profit providing health care to the uninsured in Central Florida. She and Thad Seymour, Jr., UCF Interim President, are also volunteer puppy raisers for Canine Companions, which helps to train and place service dogs for people in need throughout the country. She is also the mother of three grown children.
