Iván Gonzalez completed his master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at the University of Central Florida and his Master of Divinity degree from Duke University. Iván is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (with specialties in couples therapy, substance abuse counseling, and spiritual trauma) and is a Qualified Clinical Supervisor for the state of Florida. Iván’s research interests include the use of technology in clinical settings, multicultural issues, and improving access to mental health care in underrepresented communities. Iván is an active member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the Association for Spiritual, Ethical, and Religious Values in Counseling (ASERVIC).
