Lèa Herbert completed her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy, at Jacksonville University. She is currently a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern, working towards completing her hours for licensure, and is a Nationally Certified Counselor. Her research interests include wellness counseling competencies, individual and systemic trauma among marginalized groups, post-traumatic growth and psychotherapy integration. Lèa is an active member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), the Association for Counselor Education & Supervision (ACES), the Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development (AMCD), the UCF Counselor Education Doctoral Student Organization (CEDSO), and is an AACTE Holmes Scholar.
