Biography

Dr. Caroline Pratt Marrett, is a Senior Lecturer and Program Coordinator for the Exceptional Student Education program in the College of Community Innovation and Education, at the University of Central Florida. In addition, she is a Co-coordinator for the Holmes Scholars Program and faculty advisor for the Alpha Delta Kappa Collegiate Club. Prior to serving in her current position, Dr. Pratt Marrett served as the Recruitment and Retention Coordinator in the college. She is a dedicated student advocate and mentor, committed to empowering students to achieve success. Her research interests include exceptional student education preservice education; in-service professional development; and the recruitment and retention of students from marginalized groups in higher education. Prior to joining UCF in 2007, Dr. Pratt Marrett worked as a school administrator in New York.
