ToCarra Jordan currently serves as Program Manager for the Division of Student Learning and Academic Success and the College of Undergraduate Studies, and she is a third-year doctoral student in the Educational Leadership program at the University of Central Florida. With over twelve years in academia, ToCarra has gained valuable experience in college admissions, academic advising, student finance, teaching, and project management. Through the knowledge she has acquired, ToCarra has facilitated workshops and one-on-one sessions with students and parents to assist them in navigating the collegiate journey. ToCarra also has a passion for being an advocate for women, People of Color, first-generation students, and mentoring youth within her community. ToCarra’s long-term goal is to advance to the level of Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and to create opportunities for underrepresented, underserved, and underprivileged communities to gain access to an affordable higher education.  Her research interests include bringing awareness regarding the lived experiences of administrative and support personnel in colleges and universities and the experiences of Women of Color in the academy.
