Dr. Wallace Ting is the assessment and evaluation program manager at the UCF Center for Community Schools. His work with the center revolves around data, research and evaluation of evidence-based best practices, and accreditation and Community Partnership Schools certification.
Prior to joining UCF, Ting spent a decade in international schools, serving as a principal, deputy director and director at schools in Guatemala, Colombia and Nigeria. He also spent six years working in the New York City public school system as a high school mathematics teacher as part of the New York City Teaching Fellows program.
Ting is originally from Dallas, Texas, and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Most recently he graduated with a doctorate degree in organizational change and leadership from the University of Southern California, with a dissertation focus on factors that affect longevity and tenure of international school directors.
