Timothy M. Ravich, J.D., M.B.A is a Martindale-Hubbell AV-rated litigator and Florida Bar Board Certified Aviation Lawyer, having practiced with top AmLaw 100 firms before joining academia. His teaching and scholarship center on issues related to aviation, administrative law (preemption and federalism), and the regulation of emerging technologies (e.g., advanced urban mobility, drones). His research has appeared in leading law journals such as the Columbia Business Law Review and he recently authored Commercial Drone Law: Digest of U.S. and Global UAS Rules, Policies, and Practices (American Bar Association 2017). His treatise on aviation was published with West Academic in 2020.
