Carissa Johnson is the President of PROJECT 375, an extraordinary leader in the mental health space, dedicated to unlocking human potential through conversation, education, and inspiration. She has worked in the nonprofit industry, for over a decade, and has commandeered numerous small and large scale successes for various organizations in an operational and financial manner. As a University of Central Florida alum, she received her BA in Psychology, well as her Master’s in Nonprofit Management.
Carissa developed a strong sense of devotion for the nonprofit sector, from a young age, as a beneficiary of many youth development programs in her hometown. This experience gave her a deep appreciation for how nonprofits seek to improve the quality of life for those in need; one program at a time. PROJECT PREVENT ™ is the center of PROJECT 375’s programming. It responds to the needs of adolescents by providing parents, teachers and community members with Mental Health First Aid Training, and has created improved access to care for students most at risk and in need of mental health services.
