Dave Boote is Associate Professor of Curriculum Studies in the College of Community Innovation and Education at UCF. He was a Physics teacher in Ontario. His research currently focuses on curricular issues related to doctoral education, especially for learning more sophisticated forms of literature reviewing and research. He has also published on the beliefs, practices and organizational culture of teacher educators; mathematical problem solving in physics education; and the nature of moral autonomy in complex societies. Central to all of his teaching and research is the desire to understand how people cope and thrive in environments of high cognitive, affective, and normative flux.
