Professional Summary

“I retired after a career at NASA!  In that career, I worked at NASA Headquarters in Washington, D.C., and at the Kennedy Space Center.  A career summary includes the following: started in government through the Presidential Management Fellow (Intern) program; worked in the Space Shuttle Logistics Program; NASA’s Education Program; KSC History Contact; and three years as a senior leader culminating as Deputy Director, Education and External Relations Directorate.  I also worked in local government a short time.

My education includes a Master’s degree in Political Science (Certificate in Public Administration) from the University of Florida and a Doctorate in Education from the University of Central Florida.  I was previously an adjunct instructor at UCF and Valencia College.  Married for 37 years, my wife and I have two sons.  All four of us have a degree from UCF!  I enjoy outdoor activities such as gardening and biking, have season tickets to the Orlando Pride, Orlando Lions, and Broadway Across America and am a big fan of movies.”
