Healthcare Quality and Revenue Management, Minor

Overview

The Minor in Healthcare Quality and Revenue Management provides training in healthcare revenue cycle management. Students build knowledge in the healthcare payment process, medical diagnosis coding for inpatient claims, quality pay for performance programs, documentation improvement and risk adjustment coding.

Students pursuing majors in health sciences, biomedical sciences, nursing, biology, psychology, interdisciplinary studies, and health informatics and information management may choose this minor to enhance their current undergraduate program.
