Biography
Dr. Nadiya Boyce is an Assistant Professor at the University of Central Florida in the Department of Counselor Education and School Psychology. She earned her doctoral degree in Counseling from Florida Atlantic University, completed her master's degree in Professional Counseling and School Counseling from the University of West Georgia, and her bachelor's degree in Psychology and Business Administration from Florida State University. Dr. Boyce’s primary research interests include Social Determinants of Health within school and clinical counseling practice, microaffirmations, and cultural humility. She has written articles on topics related to microaffirmations and Social Determinants of Health. Dr. Boyce has also served on the Executive and Governing Councils of the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES).
