You chose public service to create meaningful change — to connect with people, improve lives and strengthen communities. The Community Engagement Graduate Certificate helps you do just that by equipping you with the knowledge and tools to better understand how policy decisions affect real people in real places.
Through interdisciplinary coursework, you’ll examine the challenges different communities face in areas like education, housing, transportation, health and the environment. You’ll build practical skills to assess programs, collaborate with partners, and engage directly with the people and places you aim to serve.
Whether you’re advancing your current role or preparing for the next step, this 15-credit certificate is a valuable addition to your public service path. Credits may also be applied toward other UCF graduate programs.
