Students in the graduate health care informatics program must complete an internship. The internships are designed to provide students with hands-on, health care informatics experience.
During the internship, students must:
- Complete either:
- 240 working hours OR
- A “work product” approved by Steven Ton or Kendall.Cortelyou-Ward
- Complete all of the “required forms” during the semester
- Complete the course portion of the internship
• Finding an internship site:
- It is the student’s responsibility to find a site location in which to complete the internship. Student’s may contact Steven Ton or Kendall Cortelyou-Ward to seek assistance and/or approval of an HCI internship site.
