Two dozen faculty members from the College of Community Innovation and Education are among 137 university faculty who were approved for promotion effective Aug. 8. Seven of these faculty members also earned tenure.

To be considered for promotion and tenure, faculty are evaluated on their performance in research, teaching and service. The process takes nearly an entire academic year to complete.
