Each spring, the College of Community Innovation and Education’s Research Impact Showcase provides an opportunity for student and faculty researchers across disciplines to connect and share their work with others. Held on March 26 at the Morgridge International Reading Center, this year’s showcase featured over two dozen projects on topics such as language and literacy development, mental health prevention training, organizational structure in law enforcement, and mentorship through coaching. 

The showcase featured three sessions throughout which students and faculty highlight the scope and impact of their research via poster presentations. Faculty judges representing six of the college’s academic units evaluated student presenters on a variety of factors, which culminated in three of them receiving awards for research and presentation excellence:
