Today, faculty members and future educators from the School of Teacher Education visited Midway Elementary School of the Arts to share their love of books with students.
As part of the Knights Read Community Bus initiative, children were given the opportunity to pick their favorite book from a large selection of covers. All of the books were donated from various grants as well as local community members.

Appline returned to the U.S. with one goal – to make an impact through policy. And so, after completing her bachelor's degree in social work at UCF, she began her graduate studies in the Master of Public Administration program.
"It was one thing to protest for change, but another to write change into law. Although we need both, I realized that I have a passion for writing legislation – not only to speak about it but to write it and get my point across."

The American Counseling Association recognized their outstanding work and contributions to the counseling field with two national awards.
The UCF Marriage and Family Research Institute received the Don Dinkmeyer Social Interest Award and Professor Bryce Hagedorn was awarded the David K. Brooks Distinguished Mentor Award.
