Biography

Alexandra Frank completed her Master’s degree in Human Development Counseling, emphasis in School Counseling, at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. She is a Licensed Professional School Counselor (LPSC) in the state of Tennessee as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). Alexandra’s experience includes implementing Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Trauma-Informed practices, International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) in schools. Her research interests include utilizing systems theory in school settings, school counselor preparation and ongoing development, and collaboration across disciplines and roles as a capacity-building model. Alexandra is an active member of the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), the American Counseling Association (ACA), the International Association for Marriage and Family Counselors (IAMFC), and the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES). Additionally, Alexandra is a Teach For America alumna and AmeriCorps member. Alexandra was recognized as one of IAMFC’s Emerging Leaders for the 2022-2023 term.
