Biography
Jake Kirchner is the division vice president for strategic planning and development for HCA Healthcare’s North Florida Division, where he oversees facility planning, service line development, network development and community partnerships for 15 hospitals in the North Central Florida and Orlando markets. One of his primary roles entails serving as the local project lead for the UCF Lake Nona Medical Center joint venture hospital project. He has over 15 years of healthcare experience in the areas of clinical practice, research and teaching. He was also recognized as a 2017 Orlando Business Journal 40 Under 40 awardee. Kirchner currently serves as chair of the UCF Alumni Advisory Board for health administration programs and is a board member of the Greater Orlando American Heart Association. Previously, he served as president of the Central Florida Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Kirchner earned his bachelor’s in exercise science from Truman State University, master’s in health services administration from UCF, and doctorate in podiatric surgery from the Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
