Biography
James Rujimora completed his Master’s/Education Specialist degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Florida and a Master’s degree in Developmental Psychology from Columbia University in New York City. He is currently a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern and a Registered Marriage and Family Therapy Intern in the state of Florida and works for an organization that supports children and families with serious medical illnesses. His research interests include trauma, grief and loss, and chronic medical illnesses in pediatric populations. James is an active member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), Chi Sigma Iota (CSI), and the Southern Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (SACES). Among his many recognitions, James has published works in top journals in education, technology, and behavioral science.
