Biography
Kate Babb completed her master’s degree in School Counseling at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington in 2013. Since then, she has been working as a School Counselor at Title 1 schools, including in Osceola County for the past six years. In her work as a School Counselor, Kate obtained experience and skills working with students and families by delivering personal/social support, responding to crisis situations, and academic and post-secondary planning. Kate’s research interests include understanding the confidence of first-year School Counselors, developing meaningful internship experiences for School Counselors, closing the post-secondary underachievement gap, and the impact of providing essential hygiene products to students.”
