Biography
During my graduate program, I was on a college counseling track, where I needed to complete 1000 hours of internships at college campuses. I completed 100 hours at Rollins College in the Lucy Cross Center for Women and their Allies. I completed the other 2 internships at UCF. I completed 100 hours in Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) and 800 hours in College of Sciences Advising Services (COSAS). In COSAS, I worked with mainly Biology students, and I worked closely with the Biological Sciences department. Shortly after I graduated, I began working as a research assistant with COSAS, where I organized and analyzed data from the program I completed for my previous supervisor. I then landed an opportunity to become a Career and Academic Advisor in Biological Sciences from 2018 to 2019. I eventually moved on to a full-time position as an Academic Advisor in CCIE Undergraduate Affairs in July 2019 and have been here ever since.
I am a central Florida native and grew up in Seminole County. I love exploring central Florida and all it has to offer. I have a partner that I have been with for 10 years. We have a silver tabby named Devon and a Shepard/Hound mix dog named Kylo. In addition to hanging out with my loved ones, I also like to do photography, writing, art projects, listen to music and go to concerts, watching TV and movies, gardening, and cooking.
