Biography

Dr. Timothy Rotarius is a Professor of health services administration in the School of Global Health Management and Informatics at the University of Central Florida. His research is focused on health care finance and health care strategic management. He has written more than 80 peer-reviewed publications and has presented his research to more than 80 academic and professional associations.

Dr. Rotarius has proudly served UCF since 1996.  During that time, his administrative responsibilities have included:  Vice Chair of the Department of Health Management and Informatics; program director of the graduate health services administration degree; director of internships for hundreds of health services administration student interns; and program director of the undergraduate health services administration degree.

Dr. Rotarius has a Ph.D. in health care strategic management from Texas Tech University, along with an MBA from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque and a B.B.A. in finance from Eastern Michigan University. He also has 12 years of full-time professional experience in the financial analysis field.

Dr. Rotarius teaches in the Executive Master of Health Administration online program.
