Application Information

Interested teachers, paraprofessionals, and school-level or school-district level leaders can apply for Project ELITE. ELITE professional learning specialist cohorts start once a year in early June.

The application for the 2026-2027 Project ELITE Specialist Cohort 3 opens on March 5, 2026 for teachers, paraprofessionals, and administrators interested in participating.

2026 Application Dates and Milestones

  • March 5, 2026 - Application Opens

  • April 17, 2026 - Participants Notified
  • June 6, 2026 - In-Person Summer Symposium at UCF in Orlando, FL

Eligibility Requirements

Interested participants must be a teacher, paraprofessional, principal, assistant principal, school district coach, or school district leader, teaching or supporting English learners in VPK through Grade 3 in a partner school district.

Participant Stipends

Project ELITE participants will receive a $2,160 stipend for the 72 hours of professional learning.

  • Summer 2026 Module and In-Person Participation Summer Symposium: $450
  • Fall 2026 Module 1: $810
  • Spring 2027 Module 2: $900
