Biography

Dr. Van De Mark has been a Lecturer at the University of Central Florida since 2010. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, and a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from The Sage Colleges in Troy, New York. Her Doctoral work in Educational Leadership was completed at the University of Central Florida and focused on inclusive education and creating inclusive environments for students with learning differences. She has worked with partner schools in both New York and Florida. This is her fifth year as a Professor in Residence at one of our Community Partnership Schools. Her goals include providing continued support for interns as they move into their own classrooms and collaborating with new and experienced teachers as they continue to hone their skills in the classroom. Her passions are supporting students and classroom teachers as well as bringing educational opportunities to students in low socioeconomic areas.
