Applied Behavior Analysis Clinic
Our clinical program is designed to combine support for children, student learning and research. We typically serve children from ages 0-7 presenting with deficits in communication skills. Our targeted practice consists of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Verbal Behavior Training. Board Certified Behavior Analysts supervise and monitor all services and several Board Certified Behavior Analysts – Doctoral level supervise overall operations. Contact TJEEI staff for further information.
Learning and Low-Cost Benefit
As part of our supervised practice, we invite UCF students completing our Verified Course Sequence in ABA to participate in our clinic, which provides an onsite, hands-on learning experience. As a result, we offer services at an affordable rate for $10 per hour for ten sessions. As sessions are conducted, we also seek ways to identify best practices for practitioner training and development.
Students of ABA conduct assessments, develop behavioral interventions, implement procedures, and monitor and evaluate the effects of the intervention.
Our focus of research includes student development of ABA competencies and effective client services. The clinic consists of three rooms, each equipped with state-of-the-art recording equipment. Through recording, we may monitor, measure and report on both client and student skills acquisition discovering new ways to create resources for the overall improvement of practice.
