Dr. Glenda Gunter is nationally and internationally recognized authority on technology integration in the K-20 classroom. She has co-authored over a dozen books on the subject. Dr. Gunter is the recipient of the 2010 Sloan-C Award for Excellence in Online Teaching and has won several teaching and research awards over her career. She is an Associate Professor and Program Coordinator of Educational Technology and eLearning program at the University of Central Florida. She has published articles in various journals, including the Educational Technology Research & Development, Journal of Interactive Learning Research, The Journal of Gifted Education International, Contemporary Issues in Technology and Teacher Education, the International Journal of Social Sciences, Journal of Media Literacy, and the Journal of the International Digital Media & Arts Association, and the Journal of Interactive Learning. Her research interests include integration of technology into the STEM, F2F and virtual classroom and designing instructional content for all types of content specific online learning environments.
