UCF Downtown had the opportunity to speak to three students that were able to gain internships even throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and are now putting the skills they learned both as students and interns to work.

The 2021 Order of Pegasus recipients includes 15 Burnett Honors College students, six LEAD Scholars, six Student Government leaders, three President’s Leadership Council members, one Greek member, one student-athlete and three transfer students.

The 2021 class is scheduled to be honored in a celebratory event later this spring.

Working with the state attorney’s office, students gained real-world experience while strengthening their skills in speaking to the public, interviewing for jobs and building connections.
