Overview
The Master of Education program in Secondary Education is intended for certified teachers and those eligible for teacher certification, who wish to enhance their professional knowledge and skills within a content area through advanced studies. Students will deepen their understanding of subject matter through specializing in one of our five tracks: English language arts, mathematics, science, social science or world languages. Through coursework designed to connect to secondary classrooms, students will engage in an action research project that will inform their instructional practices.
With the working education professional in mind, all courses are offered in the evening. The GRE is not required for admission.
