Once your application is approved the Office of Clinical and Field Experiences will email fingerprinting information to your Knights email account.

For Early Childhood Practicum and Counselor Education

Fingerprinting

Be advised:

If you have been arrested for certain crimes, you may not be considered for a student teaching position.

  • Failure to disclose certain information can result in automatic ineligibility for internship.
  • Please make sure to include the required district security forms.
  • Fingerprinting is required for all school districts and must be completed by the indicated dates in order for your placement to remain valid.
  • It is the student's responsibility to know their district’s fingerprinting policy.
  • Students who are school district employees and will be placed in the same district must refer to specific guidelines about fingerprinting for that district.
  • All clearances and eligibility are determined by school districts.

Brevard

Brevard County interns are considered “registered volunteers.”
Go to www.brevardschools.org for details, including cost, location, hours, and answers to frequently asked questions.
Complete the volunteer application at apps.raptortech.com
Registered volunteers, after completing the online application, will proceed to Brevard Public Schools’ Educational Services Facility, Office of District and School Security, for fingerprinting and payment.
Present a valid driver license or state-issued identification card, and a credit or debit card for payment.

Indian River County
Indian River County interns must complete the School District of Indian River County student teacher (internship) application.

Internship I students will be placed in FLVS AND the district to which you applied. You will need to fingerprint for FLVS AND the district to which you applied. In addition, you will receive a separate email from FLVS with instructions on how to also fingerprint for FLVS. All Graduate and Internship II students must be fingerprinted with FLVS. You will receive a separate email from FLVS with instructions on how to fingerprint.

  2. Under Most Popular Links (right hand side) select ‘Fingerprinting’.
  3. On the next page select ‘Click Here To Register for Fingerprinting’..
    New applicants will be linked to the Fieldprint website.
  4. Select “Schedule an Appointment.
  5. Create Sign in for New Users.
  6. On the page titled ‘Reason’ select “I know my Fieldprint Code” which will prompt you to enter Fieldprint code that you received from Kerri Hubbard.
  7. Towards the end of the registration process you will choose your fingerprinting location. Lake County Schools District Office: 201 W. Burleigh Blvd. Tavares, Fl. 32778. IF YOU ARE FINGERPRINTED AT ANOTHER LOCATION, YOU WILL HAVE TO BE RE-FINGERPRINTED AT OUR LOCATION.
  8. Next you will pick the date to be fingerprinted.
  9. The last page of the registration process will be a confirmation page.
    You may either print confirmation page or write down Registration number and bring to your appointment.
  10. Human Resources will contact the applicant to schedule the fingerprint appointment and to provide the correct fingerprint code. Applicants CANNOT register for fingerprinting without a scheduled appointment and fingerprint code.
  11. Two forms of ID are required at the time of fingerprinting:
  1. A). Acceptable Primary IDs include:
    • State-Issued Driver’s License
    • State-Issued Non-Driver’s License ID Card
    • US Passport ·Military Identification Card
    • Work Visa with Photo

    B.) Acceptable Secondary IDs include:

    • Credit/Debit Card Bank Statement
    • Electric Bill
    • Birth Certificate
    • Citizenship or Naturalization Certificate

  • On-Campus Fingerprinting Events
    • On Tuesday, November 12 and Monday, November 18, Orange County will come to the UCF main campus and host fingerprinting sessions between 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  The November 12 session will be held in the lobby of the Teaching Academy and the November 18 session will be held in the MIRC. If you cannot attend either event, please email edintern@ucf.edu

OCPS Exceptions: If you have previously fingerprinted with OCPS, please carefully review the following to determine if you need to re-fingerprint:

Internship I & Graduate students: Do not need to re-fingerprint IF any of the following apply:

  1. You are an active OCPS employee.
  2. You are an active vendor with Kelly Educational Staffing, SES tutor provider, or other OCPS vendor.

Internship II students: Do not need to re-fingerprint if any of the following apply:

  1. You are in OCPS for your Internship I this semester (Fall 2019)
  2. You are an active OCPS employee.
  3. You are an active vendor with Kelly Educational Staffing, SES tutor provider, or other OCPS vendor.

Internship I Students:
Junior interns placed in Volusia County are “NOT” required to fingerprint prior to internship I. It is mandatory that you complete an application to volunteer before being placed at your internship school. Please click on the link below to access the volunteer application. Once you have completed the application you can submit it via email or hand deliver to the address noted on the application. Please be sure to have your valid driver’s license with you. In the section where it asks for your “College Name”, fill in “UCF”, and for the “Professor’s Name” fill in edintern@ucf.edu and “Course #” fill in “Internship I”. Click here to register.

Internship II Students:

  1. Enter an email address under “New Users/Sign Up” and click the “Sign Up” button. Follow the instructions for creating a Password and Security Question and then click “Sign Up and Continue”.
  2. You should then receive an authorization email containing a Fieldprint Code.
  3. Select “I know my Fieldprint Code” and enter the code from the authorization email.
  4. Enter the contact and demographic information required by the FBI and schedule a fingerprint appointment at the location of your choosing.
  5. At the end of the process, print the Confirmation Page. Take the Confirmation Page with you to your fingerprint appointment, along with two forms of identification**.  If you have any questions or problems, you may contact our customer service team at 877-614-4364 or customerservice@fieldprint.com.
    NOTE: The name provided for the appointment must match both forms of identification and the date of birth must be on the primary form of ID, and must match exactly. Your appointment will not be completed if you cannot provide two forms of matching IDs.

Name Badges

For Seminar, Practicum, and Internship I Students

To order your $10 name badge, please go to UCF Card Services on the main campus.  You must bring your UCF ID with you to have your badge processed and printed.  For students who do not live near the main campus UCF Card Services location, there is a mail-in option.  Instructions for interns in counties that are over an hour away from the main campus can be found at the bottom of the distance learning page: ucfcard.ucf.edu/distance-learning.  You will be required to send in a $10 check payable to “UCF” in an envelope.  Please be specific why you have chosen the mail-in option to not delay the process.

For Lost or Stolen badges:

If you need a name badge you must contact the Office of Clinical & Field Experiences (OCFE) first, you may not go directly to UCF Card Services.  UCF Card Services will not process a badge without confirmation from OCFE first.
