UCF Urban and Regional Planning Distinguished Lecture Series
Each year, UCF’s Urban and Regional Planning program invites nation's leading planning experts from around the country to travel to Orlando to participate in UCF Urban and Regional Planning Distinguished Lecture Series. These lectures are held each semester and are open to the public. The mission of the lecture series is to bring together planning students, alumni, and the professional community in an environment where ideas, best practices, and case studies are shared and discussed to advance the planning field.
The series began in 2011 and is free and open to the public, thanks to the support and generous contributions from community partners and the Orlando Metro section of Florida chapter of the American Planning Association. Past speakers and topics are listed below.
For more information on this series, please contact the program director, Dr. Chia-Yuan Yu.
